The programme is organized around a wide range of significant themes that concern young journalists today: journalism and media confrontation, the role of mass media in the EU - EAEC dialogue, the development of the Eurasian integration: mass media as a platform for discussions; and the image of the EAEC in the European and post-Soviet mass media.

The main goal of our project is educational – to improve the fundamental professional skills of young journalists coming from Russia, post-Soviet countries and the European Union. However, in my opinion, establishing new contacts is no less important, particularly for the development of international cooperation between media specialists from different countries. Sometimes professional contacts turn into real friendship, which extends beyond purely academic environment. If the School succeeds in helping participants to better understand the media space of Russia or any other country, then not only educational, but also humanistic objectives of the project will be achieved
