The programme aims
At training highly qualified professionals in pharmaceutical chemistry, the chemistry of living systems and natural compounds, instrumental methods of research in chemistry and pharmaceutical production, methods of production quality control.

Students have a chance to take a free semester in leading EU universities within the framework of international cooperation and exchange programmes. Research projects can be carried out in any research institution anywhere in the world.
Upon completing the programme, you will be able to:
- participate in research in pharmaceutical chemistry, aimed at creating and introducing new drugs;
- to develop new approaches to the study of biological material composition and medicines with hybrid and combined analysis.

Core courses: Organic chemistry, biochemistry, chemistry of natural compounds, pharmacology, analytical chemistry, pharmaceutical chemistry analysis, production technology of medicines, bioinformatics and pharmaceutical science, legislation on drugs, medicines and biological additives, medicinal plants.
Professional Training / Internships
This master programme includes a number of intenships: teacher training; practical training (undergraduate); and research work,
Teacher teaching is carried out at the IKBFU Institute of Living Systems. It enables students to participate in workshops on non-organic, analytical and environmental chemistry, using proper equipment for the work.
Practical training is carried out either on the premises of the Institute of living systems, in the IKBFU Innovation Park, or other relevant organizations. All internships outside the university are covered with single or long-term government contracts.
Graduates can apply for executive and management positions in:
- Science and Education;
- Food industry;
- Analytical and Experimental Centers;
- Regulatory and Supervisory Authorities;
- Expert Laboratories.
Admission & Tuition
To enter a Master's programme applicants are required to take the following exams:
Written exam (or a test) in the chosen field of study (100 points maximum)
- Foreign language (a pass or fail test)
- We also accept international certificates of proficiency in English
Cambridge exam: PET, FCE, CAE, CPE; IELTS; TOEFL or
German: Goethe-Zertifikat A2, Goethe-Zertifikat Fit in Deutsch, Goethe-Zertifikat B1 / B2 , -Goethe-Zertifikat C1, Goethe-Zertifikat C2: GDS, test DaF, DSD B2 / C1, - telc A2 / B1 / C1 / C2, -ÖSD, -DSH.
