29 October 2018Researchers from the Immanuel Kant Baltic Federal University participated in the 11th International Conference on Tissue Engineering & Regenerative Medicine in Rome (Italy). The University was represented by Vladimir Malashchenko and Egor Shunkin, the scientists from the Laboratory of Immunology and Cellular Biotechnology.
The Conference was focused on the high-tech studies on stem cell life cycle and on tissue engineering.
The results of the researches, which were presented at the Conference, were based on modern high-tech approaches to diagnosis, prognostic and treatment of a whole range of socially significant diseases such as diabetes, rheumatoid arthritis, Parkinson's disease, Alzheimer's disease, osteoarthritis, insult, recovery of spinal cord injury, heart attack, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, Crohn's disease and etc.
According to the results of the 11th International Conference, Vladimir Malashchenko and Egor Shunkin got the certificates for their reports.
