25 October 2018An annual meeting of the Council on Competitiveness Enhancement of Leading Russian Universities will be held by the Immanuel Kant Baltic Federal University in the “Fabrika” Science and Technology Park in Kaliningrad, on October 26-27, 2018. The Council consists of foreign and Russian representatives of the international academic community, government officials that are responsible for education reforms, as well as recognized world experts and researchers in higher education. The universities that participate in the Project 5-100 will present their reports for 2017 at the 11th meeting of the Council.
Anton Alihanov, the Governor of the Kaliningrad Region, stated that our region holds the leading position in development and provides strengthening of the global competitiveness in various fields.
Following the meeting, members of the Council will implement their suggestions and recommendations for the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation and for the universities - participants. Finally, they will decide whether the leading universities will have financial support from the state.
