19 December 2017Prof Yves Gambier, director of the IKBFU’s ‘Cognition, communication, culture, and translation’ research seminar, has edited a series of monographs and periodicals on translation, interpreting, and translation studies, published by the influential John Benjamins Publishing Company.

In 2016, John Benjamins Publishing released 150 monographs and over 70 journals. All books and periodicals are available both in print and online. The company’s academic bibliography spans to some 3,500 publications.
The translation studies series, which is edited by Prof Yves Gambier, addresses translation and interpreting studies, audiovisual translation, community interpreting, sign language communication, and digital technology for training translation and interpreting professionals.
Since 2016, Prof Yves Gambier has contributed to education and research excellence at the IKBFU. Prof Gambier’s affiliation with the University makes the IKBFU an internationally recognised brand.
