14 December 2017The IKBFU’s machine engineering centre project has won government support. On December 11, the project was presented by Rector Prof Andrey Klemeshev. Members of the regional government attended the event. The IKBFU’s project is among the eleven winners of the contest held by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation. Sixty-five Russian universities submitted applications.
In 2018-2019, the IKBFU will receive eighty million-worth of government support. The project will focus on vehicle engineering, energy systems engineering, energy-saving technology, construction machinery engineering, and construction materials production. The groundwork for the project was laid by the University in collaboration with leading regional companies.
The machine-engineering centre will create new high-performance jobs and contribute to budgets of all levels.
