AngelHack brings together 125,000+ developers, designers, and entrepreneurs to compete in creating, testing, and launching new solutions. The HACKcelerator programme provides a platform for ambitious developers to meet IT leaders and entrepreneurs. On May 27-28th, the IKBFU hosted a hackathon at the Fabrika Science and Technology Park.
During the last five years, AngelHack has organised over 300 hackathons, helping developers from around the world to turn their projects ideas into businesses. In 2016, AngelHack series heckathons were held in 61 cities around the world.
Regional winners take part in a 12-week HACKcelerator training. Top 25 are flown out to a global Demo Day.
The first two stages of the Russian AngelHack were held in Novosibirsk and Innopolis in April , 2017. The teams presented 25 original projects, which were evaluated by 17 experts from Beeline, Sbertech, GDG, DevOps Digital Zone, and the University of Innopolis.
Grigory Petrov, technology evangelist, Voximplant:
‘First of all, a hackathon is an opportunity to meet colleagues, experts, and specialists from different industries, to explore Interesting platforms and tasks. It is much more valuable than any prize money’.
Evgenia Solodovnikova, senior analytics manager, Beeline:
‘I liked what the CaliforniaWantsUs team did in Innopolis. Their solution was beyond the brief but it was neat. Before starting, the guys contacted Beeline and analysed our technical support . They produced a real business solution, not just a beautiful abstraction. After the hackathon, we exchanged contacts to discuss joint prospects’.
