On August 20-24, 2017, the IKBFU is holding the International Baltic Conference on Magnetism 2017. This will be the second conference of its kind. The first one met in 2015 to bring together scientists from 13 countries. The proceedings were published in the Journal of Magnetism and Magnetic Materials and Physics Procedia. The conference is being organised by the Laboratory for Novel Magnetic Materials in collaboration with the IKBFU’s Centre for Functionalised Magnetic Materials for Biomedicine and Nanotechnology. World leaders in magnetism have confirmed their participation as plenary and invited speakers.
The Programme Committee includes acknowledged leaders in nonomagnetism – IKBFU’s researchers Prof Dino Fiorani and Prof Michael Farle.
We would like to remind you that April 10 is the deadline to submit applications for the conference.
Valriya Rodionova, Head of the Laboratory for Novel Magnetic Materials: We are pleased to cordially invite specialists in magnetism to participate in the conference in Svetlogorsk. Participants in the conference will have an opportunity to publish their works in the authoritative Journal of Magnetism and Magnetic Materials (IF = 2.357).
