Intensive Summer School 2019 lasts 1 month and will give you a deep insight into the Russian grammar and vocabulary for personal and professional goals. The school is designed for everyone who would like to master everyday Russian language, get deep immersion into the Russian culture and learn more about the higher education system in Russia.
Terms: July 29 – August 23, 2019 
The school program will help you
·         improve your pronunciation
·         deepen grammar and vocabulary
·         enhance communication skills

The social program of the school includes city tours and trips to the tourist and historical places of the Kaliningrad region. You will be as well introduced to the university campus and vibrant student life.

Intensive Summer School of the Russian Language and Culture 2019 is supported by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD).

The application includes the following documents:

1. Filled in application form for international students;
2. Filled in application for a visa invitation;
3. Copy of the main page of your travel passport;
4. Copy of the main page of your student's ID card (if any).

In order to apply for the DAAD financial support, please also submit:

1. a letter of motivation;
2. a CV of yours.

Admission

4. Copy of the main page of your student's ID card (if any).

Deadline for applications:  May 1, 2019 


Tuition fee
The course fee amounts to 50 000 RUR (862 US dollars) and covers the following:
  • 120 hours of the Russian language (3 classes per day – 80 minutes each);
  • Study materials;  Issue of a visa invitation and registration in Kaliningrad;
  • Excursions round the University, city of Kaliningrad and the Kaliningrad region;
  • Buddy assistance.

Immanuel Kant Baltic Federal University arranges accommodation for all participants of the Summer School who are offered a place in a double/triple room of the University dormitory.

The rooms are:

- fully furnished with a shower, WC and kitchen;
- in a close proximity to the campus: approx. within 10 min. walk from the campus;
- have Wi-fi connection.
