Teaching courses and Qualifying Exam training: Current Challenges in HI Teaching and Learning, History and Philosophy of Science, Foreign Language, History of International Relations and Foreign Policy.

Specialist courses: Germany and the Baltic issue in the XVII -. XX centuries, the Baltic region in the History of International Relations in the XVII -. XIX centuries, the place of Poland in International Relations in the Baltic region in Modern and Contemporary History, Historiography of the History of International Relations and Foreign Policy (the Baltic region), Modern Methods and Educational Technologies of Teaching History of International Relations and Foreign Policy.

Professional Training / Internships

Teaching and research training is provided at the IKBFU facilities as well as in central and regional archives.

The graduates a variety of career paths to follow:

in academia: historical researches in universities, specialized academic institutions and research institutes.

in culture: archives and museums

Graduates can also pursue career in expert-analytical centres, public and state information and analytical organizations.
Admission & Tuition

State-funded applicants (Russian nationals and  Russian speaking applicants from the CIS countries) are  expected to  take  the following exams:

  • History of International Relations and Foreign Policy

  • Philosophy 

  • Foreign language
