The programme aims: to train qualified sonographers having universal, professional and special competencies.

  • identify key pathological symptoms and syndromes of neurological disorders;

ECTS credits: 120

Core courses: Diagnostic Ultrasound, Public Health and Healthcare, Emergency Medicine, Pathology, Teaching, Doppler Ultrasound in Gastroenterology, Doppler Ultrasound in Urology and Nephrology, Doppler Ultrasound of Superficial Organs, Doppler Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.

Simulation Training in Diagnostic Ultrasound and Simulation Training in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation are delivered at the Simulation Clinic, the Certification Centre of the Centre of Postgraduate Education and Simulation Training of the IKBFU.

Professional Training / Internships
Career Opportunities
Upon completion of the programme, a graduate can:
  • work as a neurologist;

  • continue training in a chosen specialty joining a PhD programme
