train trauma and orthopaedic surgeons and consultants having universal, professional and special competencies and capable of independent professional work in Primary Care.

Courses & Study Load

ECTS credits: 120

Core courses: Trauma and Orthopaedics, Public Health and Healthcare, Emergency Epidemiology and Hygiene, Microbiology, Trauma and Orthopaedic Emergencies, Teaching, Peripheral Neuropathy, Skeletal Dysplasia, Microsurgery, Musculoskeletal Diagnostic Ultrasound.

Simulation Trauma and Orthopaedics and Simulation Training in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation are delivered at the Simulation Clinic, the Certification Centre of the Centre of Postgraduate Education and Simulation Training of the IKBFU.

Career Opportunities

Upon completion of the programme, a graduate can:

  • work as a trauma and orthopaedic surgeons and consultants;
