Core courses: principles and technologies of ecosystems research, global ecology, ecosystem design technology, ecology of natural communities, processes and technologies of environmental monitoring at enterprises, state environmental supervision, urban ecology, laboratory methods and technologies of environmental monitoring, environmental education, modern technology, principles of state environmental policy.
Professional Training / Internships
This master's programme includes a number of practical trainings:
Research training is held either on the premises of the Institute (laboratories), or in other organizations (medical and health care institutions of the city, research institutions, biological and ecological stations, national parks, education institutions, hunting societies). Teacher training takes place in the schools of the city of Kaliningrad and the region. All internships outside the university are covered with single or long-term government contracts.
Graduates of the program can apply for executive and managerial positions in various sectors, systems of municipal, regional and federal environmental supervision, the system of national parks, as well as the system of higher and secondary education.
