Degree Programms

Functional nanomaterials for energy applications

Programme Information
The Immanuel Kant Baltic Federal University (IKBFU) opens three novel interdisciplinary master programmes in August 2017 organized by the Interdisciplinary Reference Centre: Functionalized Magnetic Materials for Energy and Biomedical Applications (FunMagMa).
Three master programs (Master of Science) in the areas of :
  • Functional magnetic materials for biomedical application
  • Functional magnetic materials for energy applications
  • Electromagnetic spectroscopy and nanophotonics
are open for all international and Russian students with a Bachelor of Science degree (physics, chemistry, material sciences, cell biology or related programs ). The three newly developed programmes will train the prospective graduates in industrial, economical and scientific technologies that are internationally considered as among the most important ones in the future. All study programs cover aspects which are most relevant to societies: energy and health. Specialization in various aspects of experimental and theoretaical methodologies of nanotechnology and applications of nanomaterials will be learned.
Programme Description

. Functional nanomaterials for energy applications. .
