Programme Information
The goal of the programme is to provide the in-depth training for a teacher-researcher and teacher-practicioner for pre-school education, as well as for pedagogy and psychology of higher education, capable of carrying out psychological and pedagogical support for pre-school, general, further and professional education, psychological and pedagogical support for children with disabilities in special and inclusive education, as well as of implementing research activities related to a variety of issues in higher education.

Benefits of the programme
The Master program "Psycho-pedagogical support to pre-school education" is carried out by the networking of three federal universities: I.Kant Baltic Federal University, Northern (Arctic) Federal University. and the North Caucasus Federal University. Graduates of the program receive a Master's degree from IKBFU, and certificates from network partner universities.

Upon completing the programme, you will be able to:
  • use modern methods of psychological and pedagogical research, including the information and computer processing of theoretical and empirical information;
  • participate in developing psychologically comfortable and secure educational environment in pre-school educational institution;
  • work on psycho-educational projects, providing increase of pedagogical and legal competence of teachers and parents of pre-schoolers, as well as effective interaction of participants of the educational process.

Core disciplines: technologies of psycho-pedagogical support of inclusive education in pre-school educational institution; pedagogy of individuality; educational activities economics; psycho-pedagogical monitoring in early childhood education; current models of training in higher school; didactics of the higher school; educational-methodical components of higher school education process.
Professional Training / Internships

The program provides practical training in the leading pre-school educational institutions of the city of Kaliningrad and the region, as well as secondary and higher education establishments and education administration.

Career Opportunities

After completing the psycho-pedagogical degree programme, the graduate can provide psychological and pedagogical support to pre-school educational institutions; educational institutions for children of pre-school and primary school age; institutions of further education; children's recreation centers; children's orphanages; education authorities, as well as in institutions of secondary, higher and further education; government and research institutes and centers.

Admission & Tuition

To enter a Master's programme  applicants are  required to take the following exams:

  • Written exam  (or a test)  in the chosen field of study (100 points maximum)

  • Foreign language (a pass or fail  test)

We also accept international certificates of proficiency in English

Cambridge exam: PET, FCE, CAE, CPE; IELTS; TOEFL or

German: Goethe-Zertifikat A2, Goethe-Zertifikat Fit in Deutsch, Goethe-Zertifikat B1 / B2 , -Goethe-Zertifikat C1, Goethe-Zertifikat C2: GDS, test DaF, DSD B2 / C1, - telc A2 / B1 / C1 / C2, -ÖSD, -DSH.
