The programme aims to train competent specialists in political and management consulting, advanced political technology, and policy of political communications.

Upon completing the Programme, you will be able to:

  • work at state and municipal administration bodies,

  • perform consulting and analysis for political parties and executive and legislative bodies,

  • carry out research and run projects,

  • use political technology in election campaigns.

Number of ECTS credits: 240
Core courses: history of political doctrines, political theory, consulting to public authorities, political management and political technology, political marketing, PR and GR, state and municipal administration, advanced information technology for political science, Internet as a political communications medium, history and theory of international relations, current world politics, comparative politics, social policy, elections and electoral technology.
Professional Training / Internships

Students complete internships at the Kaliningrad Regional Duma, Government of the Kaliningrad region, Kaliningrad branch of Russia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Kaliningrad City Council, regional municipalities, and Kaliningrad Chamber of Commerce.

Career Opportunities

Political scientists are employed by

  • public and municipal authorities,

  • political parties,

  • analytical and consulting centres;

  • liaison offices of public authorities and private companies

Admission & Tuition

State-funded applicants (Russian nationals and  Russian speaking applicants from the CIS countries) are  expected to  take  the following exams:
